The Wine Psychologist
Work with me

  I´m Antonia

Based in Niagara’s beautiful wine country, with over 150 wineries on my doorstep, I am truly embracing life as “The Wine Psychologist”. By day I am a professor at Brock University and a consumer psychologist. I began researching brand memory 2 decades ago and now my focus is on wine labels and their purchase influence. My research is both my profession and my passion, from visiting wineries, the LCBO, Wine Shops and watching people make selections, to active projects at Brock University’s Consumer Lab.

Research on consumer psychology

Want to read more about my research on consumer psychology? You can access my publications at Google Scholar. Do you find these books and articles too academic but want to understand what they mean for your business? Let’s connect to talk over a glass of wine (virtually or in person!)

Expert advisor on consumer psychology

My media experience is extensive as who doesn’t enjoy talking about wine, consuming a perfect Chardonnay or Sparkling? I’m often interviewed by the media for my opinion on consumer-related news stories. My wine psychology research has been featured in the Globe and Mail, CNN, and the New York Times. I also have appeared on Canada AM (CTV), Breakfast Television (CityTV) and CHCH News to discuss consumer psychology.
